Role overview

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with product and service inquiries.
• Prepare quotes, explain options, and support sales decisions.
• Complete outdoor vehicle check-ins, recording mileage, tire condition, and service details.
• Look up parts, pricing, and availability using internal systems.
• Prepare invoices and process transactions accurately.
• Answer calls, book appointments, and maintain customer records.
• Keep the work environment clean, organized, and safe; coordinate with the shop team.

Requirements

• Previous customer service and sales experience.
• Automotive interest is expected; tires, basic vehicle knowledge, or parts lookup are assets.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather; able to lift 30–50 lbs as required.
• Strong communication, customer-first approach, multitasking ability, teamwork, and commitment to safety.
• A valid driver's license is an asset.
• Candidates must be legally eligible to work for any employer in Canada.

Compensation

• Hourly wage is $18.86.

Schedule

• Shifts are scheduled within store operating hours and may include weekends.
• Store hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m., and Saturday to Sunday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Workplace

• The work is based at the Kal Tire store at 3314 32 St NE, Calgary, AB T1Y 6B9.
• Vehicle check-ins take place outdoors in all weather conditions.

Hiring process

• Shortlisted candidates may be invited to an interview and guided tour of the store and service area.
• Candidates are considered for one location at a time; applicants are asked to apply to no more than two Kal Tire locations.
