Prioritize guest calls and provide professional, customer-focused responses to create a memorable, positive stay experience.
Guest communication and switchboard duties
- Receive guest calls warmly, greet guests by name according to established standards, and address queries politely.
- Communicate with relevant departments to support seamless service delivery.
- Complete long-distance call vouchers and accurately record them on the traffic sheet.
- Manage the guest wake-up call sheet and deliver calls promptly to established standards.
- Operate the switchboard and transfer internal and external calls efficiently.
- Take messages for guests and management according to prescribed standards.
Role expectations
- Maintain current knowledge of hotel services and local offerings.
- Use the Opera Guest profile system to develop awareness of guest profiles.
- Follow organizational environmental, health, and safety standards and procedures.
