Role Overview
StudyIn is hiring a Senior Tele-Consultant as an individual contributor.
The role engages prospective students through high-volume outbound calls, email, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.
The position supports lead generation, qualification, CRM accuracy, student events, and destination knowledge.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct a minimum of 200 outbound calls per day to identify student interests and generate qualified leads.
- Manage the assigned student database and maintain consistent communication across leads.
- Follow up through phone, email, and WhatsApp with information about services and events.
- Qualify leads and transfer conversion-ready prospects to the counseling team.
- Maintain real-time CRM records of interactions, follow-ups, and status updates.
- Support promotional calling campaigns for education fairs, seminars, and marketing events.
- Prepare daily and weekly reports on call activity, lead status, and follow-up outcomes.
- Maintain knowledge of StudyIn programs, destinations, and admission processes.
Schedule
- The role requires shift flexibility within the 9:00 AM to 8:30 PM operating window.
- The schedule is 9 hours per day, 5 days per week, with weekly days off aligned to business requirements.
Candidate Requirements
- Good command of spoken and written English.
- Probing capabilities, confidence, conviction, and a quality-focused work mindset.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Bachelor’s degree or above in any subject.
- Two to five years of BPO or Call Centre experience would be a plus.
Performance Indicators
- New Lead to MQL conversion.
- Connectivity rate and call volume.
- Call quality score and time to first attempt.
- Touchpoint plan adherence and CRM hygiene.
