Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Build detailed models of members, connections, and custom components using Tekla Structures.
• Generate general arrangement, erection, assembly, and single-part fabrication drawings.
• Extract bills of materials, reports, and CNC/NC files for manufacturing and factory production.
• Coordinate with project managers, structural engineers, and architects to resolve design clashes or missing details.
• Handle requests for information, design changes, and model updates throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications and experience

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in civil engineering, structural engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in structural steel detailing and 3D modeling.
• Strong proficiency in Tekla Structures.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, or Navisworks is a plus.
• Knowledge of steel fabrication methods, erection sequences, connection design, and international building codes such as AISC, BS, or Eurocode.
• Good communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills; ability to handle projects independently or guide junior detailers.
• Candidate must be physically available in the UAE; face-to-face interview is preferred.

Pay

• Pay starts at AED 3,500 per month.
