Role Description

The Secure Engineering team designs, builds, and owns secure platforms and configuration used across the wider IT estate.

The role configures and maintains identity, endpoint, and SaaS platforms while owning vendor and contract management.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain IT systems using Okta, Jamf, Google Workspace, and Cloudflare.
  • Source and evaluate tooling, manage procurement, and complete vendor assessments.
  • Own vendor contract renewals, terms, costs, and renegotiation opportunities.
  • Act as the main contact for vendor account and contract matters.
  • Translate IT Operations needs into system configuration and tooling decisions.
  • Run projects autonomously while keeping senior management informed.
  • Participate in an IT on-call rota and support IT Operations as needed.

Must-Have Requirements

  • At least 7 years of IT engineering or similar technical experience, ideally in SaaS-heavy regulated environments.
  • Working knowledge of SaaS, identity, and endpoint platforms in regulated environments.
  • Experience with vendor evaluation, procurement, renewals, and contract negotiation.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a small, high-ownership team.
  • Experience in financial services or crypto and digital assets.
  • Familiarity with Okta, Jamf, Google Workspace, or Cloudflare Zero Trust.
  • Experience with ITSM or change-management tooling such as JSM.
  • Professional proficiency in English.
