Role overview

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate monthly management accounts for assigned entities and support other group entities and consolidated reporting.
• Ensure assets, liabilities, income, and expenditure are correctly accounted for within a robust control environment.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing, vendor reconciliations, and collection of outstanding payments.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities; maintain the general ledger, chart of accounts, and supporting schedules.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies, strengthen internal controls, and ensure statutory, regulatory, and tax compliance.
• Lead year-end statutory accounts and audit and liaise with external parties.

Background and experience

• Fully qualified accountant with 5 years of post-qualification experience.
• In-depth technical knowledge of IFRS and experience with audit engagements.
• Awareness of regulatory and compliance landscapes; opportunity to build knowledge specific to trading and crypto.
• Strong accounting-systems experience; NetSuite is preferred. Advanced skills with Microsoft and/or Google products.
• English proficiency is mandatory.
