Technical Support Engineer responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and integrated-system issues; investigate reports, analyze errors, and perform technical assessments.
- Implement fixes to restore function and reliability, collaborate with customers and technical teams, and help improve system performance.
- Configure equipment, test systems, install updates, document technical information, and guide users on system operation.
- Identify recurring issues, recommend preventive measures, and ensure solutions meet performance, security, and quality standards.
Technology Consultant responsibilities
- Assess existing systems and business and technical needs, recommend technologies, and support planning and implementation of technology initiatives.
- Translate business objectives into practical solutions with stakeholders, project teams, and technical specialists.
- Prepare proposals, evaluate software and infrastructure, document requirements, coordinate implementation, and assess effectiveness.
- Contribute to integration, process improvement, digital modernization, and recommendations aligned with organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Strong understanding of technical systems, troubleshooting methods, and technology implementation; familiarity with hardware, software, operating systems, and network fundamentals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office for reports, presentations, and documentation.
- Ability to analyze requirements, identify root causes, and develop practical solutions; strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication, collaboration, adaptability, and commitment to continuous learning.
- System configuration, diagnostics, performance optimization, requirements analysis, solution evaluation, and technology integration are advantageous or beneficial.
- Cloud platforms, enterprise applications, cybersecurity principles, and IT infrastructure are advantageous.
