Technical Project Manager - Microsoft Dynamics 365

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Lead D365 CE (Sales, Customer Service, Field Service) and/or D365 F&O delivery across discovery, fit-gap analysis, solution design, build, UAT, go-live, and hypercare.
• Drive configuration-versus-customization decisions, data migration, Dataverse, Azure, Logic Apps, third-party integrations, and security models with architects and consultants.
• Own planning, scope, prioritization, and change control, delivering on time, within budget, and aligned to business outcomes.
• Manage functional, technical, and QA teams; ensure quality, validation, testing, release readiness, and ALM using solution management and Azure DevOps.
• Lead customer workshops, steering meetings, and status reporting; manage expectations and surface risks and dependencies.

Required qualifications

• Strong technical project/delivery management and solution leadership experience.
• Hands-on knowledge of system design, architecture, cloud, web, mobile, and modern engineering practices.
• Experience leading Agile/Scrum teams and complex end-to-end projects.
• Strong client communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and escalation handling.
• Understanding of estimation, governance, risk, scope, quality, and delivery metrics.
• Ability to lead and mentor cross-functional technical and non-technical teams.
• Practical experience applying AI and automation across the SDLC.
• 8+ years in IT delivery, 4+ years managing Dynamics 365 projects, and at least two full-cycle implementations.
• Strong technical depth in the D365 data model, configuration, extensibility, and integration patterns.
• Solid grounding in Agile/Scrum and hybrid delivery.

Preferred qualifications

• Exposure to Microsoft Success by Design or Sure Step is a plus.
• Power Platform experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, or Copilot Studio is a strong plus.
• MB-910 or PL-200 certifications are a plus.
