About the Job
We are seeking a seasoned
Technical Project Manager – Cards Integration
to lead and manage end-to-end delivery of card-related projects in the banking, payments, or fintech domain.
This role requires a deep understanding of card schemes, payment systems, and integration processes, coupled with strong project management expertise.
You will oversee product lifecycle management, scheme certifications, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful project execution.
Responsibilities
- Product & Benefits Mapping: Define product constructs, features, and customer value propositions, ensuring alignment with business goals. Maintain comprehensive product documentation.
- Project Documentation & SDLC Oversight: Lead and review critical project documents such as BRDs, solution designs, test strategies, and plans. Ensure traceability of product requirements throughout the SDLC.
- Card Design & Production: Manage approvals for card designs, including artwork, BIN/legend, personalization, and production specifications, ensuring compliance with brand and scheme guidelines.
- Scheme Certification: Coordinate product-side readiness for card scheme certifications, track findings, and resolve issues to closure.
- Marketing & Launch Readiness: Collaborate with marketing teams to prepare customer communication, launch assets, and rollout plans. Ensure all approvals and readiness for campaign launches.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in cards/payments, banking, or fintech project delivery.
- Strong understanding of card schemes, payment systems, and integration processes.
- Proven experience in card product launches and lifecycle management.
- Expertise in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC and testing lifecycle.
- Technical understanding of APIs, middleware, and card production processes.
- Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, and Office 365.
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification (mandatory); ITIL/PMI-ACP preferred.
- Core competencies: Strong leadership, stakeholder management, excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and governance discipline.
- Ability to manage complex projects in fast-paced environments with high attention to detail.
