About Mecka AI

Mecka AI builds data infrastructure for robotics and embodied AI, including data capture, labeling, and hardware-enabled workflows.

Its systems support AI labs and robotics companies training and validating humanoid and embodied AI systems.

The role

Own delivery of ego-data datasets to AI-lab customers, meeting customer commitments for specifications, volume, and timing.

This is a hands-on senior individual-contributor role combining delivery coordination, dataset scripting and pipeline queries, and delivery-specification design.

The role works across ego-data sales and delivery teams and the engineering teams producing data.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional execution and maintain the master schedule for high-value dataset deliveries.
  • Build and improve tools for dataset packaging, validation, manifests, QA, dashboards, and delivery handoff.
  • Define delivery-readiness standards covering completeness, metadata, taxonomy, formatting, and QA gates.
  • Turn delivery problems into reusable specifications, checklists, and automated validation.
  • Translate customer requirements into plans and align customer commitments with pipeline capabilities.
  • Act as senior delivery contact for key AI-lab accounts, including scope, status, and escalations.
  • Report on delivery time, dataset volume and yield, QA pass rates, rework, and SLA adherence; identify bottlenecks and quality trends.

What you bring

  • 2–5+ years as a TPM, Technical Program/Product Lead, or Data/Delivery Operations lead.
  • Hands-on experience delivering complex datasets or technical deliverables to external customers on time and to specification, with knowledge of quality assurance and pipeline failure modes.
  • Comfort querying databases such as SQL or MongoDB, writing scripts such as Python, and prototyping dataset tools.
  • Ability to lead by influence across sales, engineering, and operations without direct reports.
  • Experience configuring workflow and tracking tools such as Jira, Asana, Linear, or similar.
  • Clear customer-facing communication about scope, status, and trade-offs.
  • Experience in ML/AI data, robotics, or a similar technical-delivery domain is preferred.

Compensation

  • Compensation range is CAD 150,000–CAD 200,000; no pay cadence is specified.
