Role overview

The Technical Program Manager sits within the engineering organization and supports complex cross-team programs across mobile, backend, infrastructure, risk, and compliance.

The role helps teams in India and regional markets align, prioritize work, manage risk, and deliver launches safely and on time.

The position contributes to shared engineering standards, delivery processes, tools, and practices.

Responsibilities

  • Lead delivery of technical programs such as market launches, payment integrations, platform migrations, and regulatory or security initiatives.
  • Define scope, requirements, milestones, and ownership with engineering, product, design, QA, risk, compliance, and operations.
  • Create roadmaps; track progress; resolve blockers and dependencies; and plan risk mitigation.
  • Use delivery, quality, reliability, and business metrics to guide decisions.
  • Communicate program status to teams and senior leaders.
  • Coordinate mobile and backend releases, readiness, rollouts, and post-launch reviews.
  • Improve planning, incident follow-up, documentation, and delivery tooling; build a collaborative program culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years in technology, including at least 4 years in technical program management, engineering management, or similar delivery leadership.
  • Software engineering or closely related technical background; able to follow system design discussions and identify specification risks.
  • Working knowledge of several technology areas, including mobile, backend and distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, data, or security.
  • Experience in fintech, payments, banking, or another regulated environment is a strong plus.
  • Successful delivery of large programs across teams, time zones, and locations; comfort with ambiguity and creating clarity.
