The role is a backend Software Engineer position based in Bangalore.
The engineer will design and develop high-performance, scalable, secure server-side applications using Golang or another strong backend language.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-availability and secure server-side applications.
- Collaborate on requirements, architecture, and delivery with cross-functional teams.
- Optimize the performance, scalability, and reliability of Golang applications.
- Implement automated unit and integration tests.
- Participate in technology evaluation, code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical documentation.
- Troubleshoot complex issues and contribute to recruitment interviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 3 years of software development experience with substantial Golang and cloud infrastructure experience.
- Experience with distributed systems, microservices architecture, and Docker or Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of unit and integration testing for Golang applications.
- Ability to lead projects, collaborate with teams, and mentor junior engineers.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Experience
- Strong proficiency in high-performance, concurrent Golang applications is preferred.
- Experience in FinTech, payments, banking, e-commerce, or other high-volume transactional systems is advantageous.
