Role Description
The Technical Office Manager leads all technical office activities for construction and fit-out projects, including shop drawings, technical submittals, BOQs, material approvals, and coordination with consultants, project teams, and site staff.
The role ensures technical compliance, cost control, and efficient project execution.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
8–10 years of experience in construction and fit-out projects, including at least 5 years in a senior technical role.
Strong experience in luxury fit-out projects and MEP coordination.
Solid knowledge of drawings, BOQs, specifications, and contract documents.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit, and Microsoft Office.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage shop drawings, technical submittals, and material approvals.
- Coordinate architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
- Review BOQs, variation orders, and subcontractor invoices.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
- Lead the technical office team and support value engineering initiatives.
