Role overview

Role accountabilities

• Ensure cloud infrastructure is secure, optimized, and scalable, focusing on cost optimization, traffic protection, and network planning.
• Lead the Data Management Team in data ownership, governance, privacy compliance, classification, and lifecycle management.
• Oversee integration of new datasets into the platform for accurate data flows supporting analytics and decision-making.
• Work with Security Operations to implement data encryption, cloud security, and compliance practices.
• Oversee onboarding of new smart solutions and provide presales support.
• Adopt new technologies, tools, and practices to improve platform performance.
• Lead workshops, discovery meetings, and cross-functional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Experience and qualifications

• Proven experience in large, complex ICT and smart-city projects.
• Knowledge of ICT, including cloud computing, software engineering, web/mobile application development, data, and AI analytics; hands-on experience and willingness to contribute.
• Experience analyzing, implementing, and evaluating IT systems and their specifications.
• Experience coordinating and managing large cross-functional teams.
• Multicultural experience.
• Minimum master's degree in computer science or a relevant field.
• At least 5 years of IT service delivery experience.
• Fluent English is required as the working language.

Technical knowledge

• Knowledge of IT management, infrastructure, and applications.
• Knowledge of data warehousing, architecture, networking, cloud platforms, and technologies.
• Knowledge of Smart City orchestration and platform management.
• Experience with business operations platforms.
• Azure-related certifications are preferred.

Preferred qualifications

• An MBA is highly appreciated.
