About This Opportunity
This is a hands-on technical leadership opportunity for professionals with networking experience and a record of developing system-level infrastructure and operations or management solutions.
The role involves building and supporting resilient network systems and platform services while contributing to collaborative, cutting-edge projects.
What You Will Do
- Design, develop, and unit test innovative switch and router products.
- Collaborate within an agile team on development and unit testing responsibilities.
- Own feature design, coding, unit testing, feature testing support, regression testing support, and automation test script creation.
- Contribute to comprehensive documentation and ongoing product maintenance and improvement.
Networking and Routing Expertise
- Strong understanding of networking and distributed computing concepts.
- Proficiency with Layer 2/Layer 3 protocols, including BGP, ISIS, OSPF, ARP, ND, IPv6, RIB, and BFD.
- Strong grasp of routing principles and client-server architecture, with excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or an equivalent field.
- Strong C/C++ programming skills for software development on L2/L3 Ethernet switches or routers.
- In-depth understanding of networking technologies and related protocols.
- Extensive knowledge in data communication or telecommunications.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within teams.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is essential for communication.
- Familiarity with automation testing and agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
