Role overview
Provides technical and engineering support for infrastructure projects, ensuring accurate documentation, compliance with approved designs and specifications, and smooth construction execution.
Coordinates with site teams, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to resolve technical issues and support timely project delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and review workable shop drawings, as-built drawings, and technical details for infrastructure works.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, BOQs, and project requirements.
- Support site teams and resolve design conflicts and construction-related issues.
- Coordinate technical matters with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
- Review site conditions and propose practical engineering solutions.
- Inspect work against approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Review and coordinate road, drainage, utility, and other infrastructure works.
- Assist with construction material and technical-submission reviews against project specifications.
- Prepare technical reports, site observations, and engineering documentation.
- Monitor technical issues and coordinate their resolution to avoid project delays.
- Support the Project Manager and site team in technical compliance and project execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of technical engineering experience; UAE infrastructure project experience is preferred.
- Experience in roads, drainage, utilities, and related infrastructure works.
- Strong knowledge of technical, shop, and as-built drawings.
- AutoCAD proficiency is required; Civil 3D knowledge is an advantage.
- Familiarity with UAE/local infrastructure standards, specifications, and regulations.
- Strong technical, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple technical requirements and meet project deadlines.
