Role Overview
QA/QC Engineer responsible for ensuring materials, processes, and documentation comply with contract requirements and project quality standards.
The role coordinates inspections, quality records, testing activities, and cross-team quality oversight.
Responsibilities
- Follow up with procurement on sample and material submissions and obtain project approvals.
- Coordinate with the Document Controller on client approval submissions.
- Ensure quality-related documentation is complete and accurate.
- Inspect material samples on-site for compliance.
- Verify on-site samples against client expectations and project specifications.
- Prepare weekly quality status reports.
- Review daily technical and quality reports and manage correspondence.
- Prepare material submittals, method statements, operations and maintenance documents, and close NCRs and SORs.
- Follow up with suppliers and subcontractors on material submittals and technical documents.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field.
- At least three years of QA/QC experience in UAE construction or engineering projects.
- Proficiency in quality management systems, inspection protocols, and relevant standards.
- Strong knowledge of material testing and non-conformance reporting procedures.
Skills and Abilities
- Organizational skills for managing quality records and databases.
- Attention to detail for inspections and compliance verification.
- Effective communication and coordination skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-track project environment.
