Technical Engineer - Dubai Project

About This Role

About this role:

• Collaborating with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to plan and design the construction project, considering factors such as budget, timeline, and resources.
• Overseeing and managing the construction process, including scheduling, resource allocation, and ensuring that the project adheres to all relevant regulations and standards.
• Providing technical guidance and expertise on various aspects of construction, such as structural design, materials selection, and construction methods.
• Implementing and monitoring quality control measures to ensure that construction materials and methods meet industry standards and project requirements.
• Monitoring and managing the project budget, including estimating costs, tracking expenses, and identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
• Ensuring that the construction project complies with all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Facilitating effective communication among the project team, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure that everyone is informed about project progress, challenges, and any necessary adjustments.
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to the construction project, including contracts, permits, progress reports, and any changes made during the construction process.

Occupational and workplace Health and Safety responsibilities:

In addition to all job-specific responsibilities, all employees are required to adhere to all Basatin health, safety and environmental (HSE) policies, procedures, practices, and relevant legal and statutory health, safety and environmental requirements and obligations. All employees are personally responsible to familiarize themselves with these policies, procedures, practices, updates, etc. Khidmah HSE department regularly updates existing and introduce new policies, procedures, and practices and each employee is personally responsible to ensure they stay updated and compliant with all such updates and new additions.

Information Security responsibilities:

• Comply with Basatin Information Security Policies
• Be aware of and fulfil their information security responsibilities
• Ensure whoever handles sensitive company information have taken the Security Awareness Training
• Know how to report a security incident (to IT ServiceDesk or InfoSec).
• Not Disable his/her OS firewall and/or Antivirus
• Restrict use to authorized purposes, Protect access accounts, privileges and associated passwords.
• Accept accountability of his/her individual user accounts, and maintain confidentiality

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering

Field experience is an added advantage.

Must be detail-oriented and technically sound with good communication skills.
