Pre-Contract Duties

• Prepare detailed
• cost estimates, budgets, and BOQs
• for fit-out projects (commercial, retail, hospitality, residential).
• Review drawings, specifications, and scope documents to ensure accurate pricing.

Post-Contract Duties

• Administer contracts in accordance with
• FIDIC and UAE standard practices

• Prepare and manage
• interim valuations, payment certificates, and cash flow forecasts

• Monitor project costs, track budgets, and report cost variances.
• Evaluate and negotiate
• variations, claims, and change orders
• .
• Prepare
• final accounts
• and ensure timely project closure.
• Maintain proper documentation of all commercial correspondences and contracts.

Procurement & Commercial Management

• Lead procurement of subcontractors and suppliers for specialized fit-out packages (joinery, MEP, finishes, FF&E).
• Negotiate pricing and terms to achieve cost efficiency.
• Manage subcontractor performance, payments, and contract compliance.
• Ensure alignment with project timelines, quality, and cost targets.

Stakeholder Coordination

• Liaise with clients, consultants, project managers, and suppliers.
• Provide
• commercial insights and financial reports
• to senior management.
• Support project delivery teams in resolving contractual and financial issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in
• Quantity Surveying / Civil Engineering / Construction Management
• .
• Minimum
• 8–12 years of experience
• , with strong exposure to
• fit-out projects in UAE
• .
• Proven experience handling
• both pre-contract and post-contract roles
• .
• Strong knowledge of
• Dubai market rates, suppliers, and subcontractors
• .
• Familiarity with
• FIDIC contracts and UAE construction laws
• .
• Proficiency in
• costing software, Excel, and AutoCAD (preferred)
• .
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Membership with
• RICS (MRICS) or equivalent
• is an advantage.
• Experience in high-end or fast-track fit-out projects.
• Strong network within UAE fit-out industry.
