Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced
Technical Design Manager
to lead and coordinate design development for construction projects in Dubai.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Autodesk Revit, with the ability to manage multidisciplinary design teams and ensure high-quality, compliant project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the design process from concept through to construction documentation
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and project stakeholders
- Oversee BIM implementation and ensure adherence to project standards and protocols
- Review and validate design drawings, models, and technical submissions
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and authority requirements in the UAE
- Manage design timelines, deliverables, and resources to meet project schedules
- Identify and resolve design conflicts and technical issues proactively
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to design and BIM teams
- Liaise with site teams to ensure design intent is maintained during construction
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in construction design management
- Strong proficiency in BIM processes and Autodesk Revit
- Experience working on large-scale construction projects in the UAE
- Solid understanding of local authority regulations and approvals
- Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
Preferred Qualifications
- BIM certification or relevant professional accreditation
- Experience with additional design tools (Navisworks, AutoCAD, etc.)
- Previous experience managing multidisciplinary teams
