Senior Technical Designer
About This Role
Define and maintain design standards, templates, and reference architectures for WAN, LAN, SD-WAN, Data Center, Security, WLAN, and Voice solutions.
Produce, validate, and approve HLDs, LLDs, and BOQs before submission or implementation.
Ensure technical alignment with vendor best practices (Cisco, Huawei, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Aruba, Ribbon, etc.).
Conduct design peer reviews and risk assessments for new customer or internal infrastructure deployments.
Act as final escalation point for design-related issues during project execution.
Collaborate with Solution Architects and Delivery Managers to ensure technical feasibility and operational sustainability.
Drive standardization of design processes across multi-domain teams (Network, Security, Voice, Data Center, Passive Infra).
Lead technology evaluation and roadmap discussions with OEMs for emerging technologies.
Support bid responses and RFP reviews ensuring solution alignment with organizational standards.
Develop documentation frameworks for network blueprints, topology diagrams, and architecture validation checklists.
Liaise with operations and service assurance teams to ensure designs are supportable and fault-tolerant.
