Overview

The Technical Coordinator plays a key role within Knight Frank's Property & Asset Management Division, supporting the technical management and operational performance of a diverse property portfolio.

This position is responsible for coordinating technical and operational activities across client assets, acting as the central liaison between client engineering and construction teams, business unit representatives, consultants, contractors and tenants.

The role ensures the efficient delivery of fit-out works, capital projects and operational initiatives, facilitating the timely completion of projects and the successful handover and opening of new retail units and commercial spaces while maintaining the highest standards of quality, compliance and client service.

Technical Coordination

  • Coordinate/interface with client technical and management teams to resolve issues impacting project delivery
  • Attend coordination meetings with tenants and client technical staff to expedite project completion
  • Analyse and comment on engineering drawings and schematics to ensure accuracy, suitability and compliance with local codes, standards and regulations
  • Visit project sites to observe progress against milestone schedules for completion and report progress to ADD leadership
  • Troubleshoot technical issues impacting project progress and make recommendations for rectification

Property Inspections

  • Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, and compliance with property standards.
  • Report inspection findings and coordinate necessary actions.

Administrative Support

  • Assist ADD management team by preparing progress reports and scheduling and conducting meetings.
  • Maintain accurate records of technical discussions and correspondence.
  • Prepare other reports and correspondence as directed by ADD management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or a related technical field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in construction or facilities management or a related role is advantageous.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of AutoCAD
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise tasks, and work independently.
  • UAE valid driving licence

Working Conditions

  • This role primarily operates in the client鈥檚 HQ office but requires on-site fieldwork on a daily basis. Regular visits to all properties within the portfolio are required
