• Leading and mentoring a team of software developers, providing technical guidance, feedback, and support to foster a collaborative culture.
• Collaborating closely with business stakeholders to understand raw project requirements, analyze system feasibility, and define scalable technical solutions.
• Designing and architecting scalable, maintainable, and efficient software systems, ensuring high performance and security infrastructure needs are met.
• Implementing industry best practices, clean coding standards, automated continuous integration pipelines, and robust software project management frameworks within the team.
• Participating in and leading comprehensive code reviews, ensuring adherence to development standards and protecting against architectural vulnerabilities.
• Troubleshooting, resolving complex technical issues, and addressing deployment challenges throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Serving as a technical expert and advocate for innovation, tool reviews, and continuous optimization within the engineering team and company.
• Your tasks
• Analyse project requirements and functional workflows from business stakeholders and develop clear technical diagrams and system maps.
• Lead the planning, design, backend schema implementation, and full-stack execution of software solutions, ensuring strict alignment with project goals.
• Provide day-to-day technical leadership and architectural guidance to team members, creating an accountable and productive environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional project resources and distributed technical teams to consistently deliver reliable, high-quality, and enterprise-grade software products.
• Design core software frameworks, intentionally integrating multi-role access layers, data encryption systems, and immutable system audit logging.
• Conduct technical evaluations and performance reviews of third-party tools, engineering frameworks, and cloud-native technologies.
• Identify structural technical debt and system vulnerabilities, implementing optimized refactoring solutions to enhance code quality and maintainability.
• Monitor agile sprint progress using modern tracking frameworks (e.g., Jira, Linear), manage feature priorities, and provide regular updates to project stakeholders.
• Set up and manage automated DevOps continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) tools to ensure seamless platform deployment.
• Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies, industry trends, and modern software development methodologies to drive platform evolution.
• Required skills and qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Technical Lead or a senior full-stack software development role.
• Strong technical expertise in full-stack software development, with deep proficiency in modern programming ecosystems (such as Node.js/TypeScript) and relational databases.
• Proven experience designing, building, and scaling multi-role application platforms with strict data encryption frameworks (at rest/in transit) and comprehensive system log tracking.
• Demonstrated experience leading distributed or remote development teams and setting up automated DevOps continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) tools.
• Excellent analytical product mindset, with the distinct ability to parse complex domain insights from non-technical stakeholders and turn them into designated technical products.
• Proven experience with Agile project management methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and standard software engineering delivery frameworks.
• Experience with cloud technologies, secure system hosting, and modern cloud architectures (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of database administration, system architecture, core infrastructure design, and secure network administration rules.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the proven ability to motivate, align, and organize an engineering team.
• Detail-oriented with solid problem-solving, debugging, and analytical abilities to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
