Role overview

Responsibilities

• Lead developers, prioritize and distribute JIRA tasks, refine the backlog, estimate work, and support release planning.
• Review code, uphold coding standards, and design and implement scalable, secure, efficient software.
• Build and maintain applications for inventory, factory workflows, shipping, ERP synchronization, APIs, and web platforms.
• Identify bottlenecks, resolve defects, document technical work in Confluence, and test and polish solutions before production.
• Select completed changes for releases and support team development through feedback and technical knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders; support future Salesforce order and product management integration.
• The current technology stack includes Python, ReactJS, MySQL, and Kubernetes on AWS; architecture and monitoring support are shared with an external consultant.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
• At least five years of software development or programming experience, with strong Python and ReactJS expertise.
• At least five years of experience writing complex SQL queries.
• At least two years of team lead experience.
• Strong testing skills, organizational and time-management skills, and written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-have experience

• ERP integration, ideally with Acumatica, and CRM integration, ideally Salesforce.
• FastAPI, Jenkins, Docker or Kubernetes, AWS, YAML configuration, Zebra Enterprise Browser or ZPL, and ARGO CD.
• AI-assisted coding experience, including code generation, debugging, testing, and review.

Compensation and benefits

• Annual salary range is CAD $90,000–$115,000, based on experience.
• Benefits include profit sharing, health and lifestyle spending accounts, catastrophic coverage, travel insurance, and RRSP matching up to 4% of annual salary.
