Tripstack is a B2B Flights as a Service provider and virtual interlining technology company within Etraveli Group.

Its platform provides flight content, virtual interlining, payments, fraud prevention, pricing, customer support, and traveler protection services.

Role overview

The Technical Lead will lead the Content engineering team and architect software that helps users find effective flight combinations.

The role focuses on scalable, low-latency systems, technical direction, delivery quality, and team development.

Technical leadership

  • Own development from ideation and planning through design, implementation, quality assurance, and post-production monitoring.
  • Drive the technical roadmap, resolve ambiguity, approve technical decisions, and manage technical debt.
  • Author and approve code and designs that follow secure, defensive coding practices.
  • Build fault-tolerant systems validated through load and stress testing.
  • Ensure releases are monitored, documented, and supportable.

Team and process leadership

  • Lead a high-performing team of developers and QA engineers.
  • Act as scrum master and improve the team's SDLC and project workflow.
  • Mentor engineers and promote an inclusive, durable team culture.
  • Translate business objectives into clear engineering tasks while shielding the team from unnecessary external noise.
  • Promote responsible AI adoption and define review expectations for AI-assisted work.

Experience and technical requirements

  • 8 to 12 years of software development experience using C#, .NET Core, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • At least 2 years of experience leading an agile development team.
  • Strong experience leading a team of 7 to 10 developers and QA engineers.
  • Strong experience with REST APIs, XML, JSON, and SOAP.
  • Strong architectural and system design skills.
  • Experience with GCP or AWS is a plus.
  • Experience with code review tools such as SonarQube.
  • Experience solving complex architecture and business problems with extensible, simple, and optimal solutions.

Engineering practices

  • Experience influencing coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Experience delivering complex software systems with engineers working under the candidate's guidance.
  • Experience communicating with engineering leadership about product features, technical designs, and product strategy.
  • Proficiency using AI tools such as Claude to improve SDLC efficiency.

Work mode and schedule

  • The work mode is hybrid.
  • Work timings are 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
  • The role provides second-level on-call support for production systems owned by the team.

Success measures

The team consistently meets delivery commitments with high quality.

Technical ambiguity is resolved quickly, and post-release rework, rollbacks, and incidents are rare.

Engineers feel able to express themselves and produce their best work.
