Role Overview
Tripstack is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its development team.
The role involves writing code for a large-scale distributed system and working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
The engineer will help plan, develop, test, deploy, and maintain the product.
Responsibilities
- Design, write, review, test, and support reliable systems at scale serving more than 250 million requests per day.
- Identify technology opportunities and communicate technical proposals and plans across the organization.
- Design solutions, get them reviewed, create stories, deliver implementations, and maintain them.
- Promote code quality and drive engineering initiatives.
- Work with product managers and development teams to deliver products and improve internal KPIs.
- Coordinate and monitor regular releases to production.
- Participate in on-call support and help resolve live-system incidents.
- Mentor the team through code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- At least 4 years of experience with Golang.
- At least 4 years of experience with data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis.
- At least 1 year of experience building large-scale, high-performance distributed systems.
- At least 4 years of design and architecture experience with object-oriented analysis and design patterns.
- Experience with UNIX/Linux, performance trade-offs, load balancing, and operational issues.
- Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders across the organization.
Additional Assets
- Cloud and cloud-native architecture experience with Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or other providers.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, monitoring, alerting, logging, and PCI-related work.
- Experience with Rust, machine learning deployments, or gRPC-based solutions.
Work Mode
- The work mode is hybrid.
- Work timings are 12 noon to 9 pm.
