Role overview
Reports to the Manager, Accounting Business Support and combines working-level supervision of analysts with hands-on design, build, and support of Consolidation and Planning BPC modules.
Requires strong accounting and information-systems backgrounds and effective collaboration with Accounting and Information Systems teams.
What you will do
- Develop an in-depth understanding of consolidation and planning processes.
- Work with customers to use the consolidation system to represent complex financial transactions, including acquisitions and divestitures.
- Ensure reliability of consolidation and planning systems and processes.
- Respond to external auditors' accounting and reporting queries.
- Mentor junior team members and complete special projects and ad hoc analysis.
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, information systems, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive, related experience; a combination of education and experience may be considered.
Preferred qualifications
- CPA designation; understanding of SAP ECC FICO; and knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting.
- Knowledge of U.S. GAAP or other recognized accounting standards.
- Superior SAP EPM and SAP BPC skills; strong Excel skills.
- Attention to detail; effective performance under tight deadlines, with multiple priorities and minimal supervision.
- Creative problem solving in ambiguous situations, analytical ability, communication skills, and interest in technology trends and continuous improvement.
