Duties

  • & Responsibilities:* Conduct laboratory sessions and supervise student-working groups in the nutrition and food courses
  • Support students in the learning process through tutorials and other supporting educational processes
  • Assist instructors in following up and grading student assignments
  • Assist instructors and students in securing academic resources/reference materials for courses
  • Assist in the community service, marketing, and outreach activities of the department programs.
  • Contribute to various committees at the department, college, and university level.
  • Engage in professional development activities/training to enhance teaching effectiveness and stay updated about advancements in the field.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by the Head of Department

Qualifications

1.

Master’s degree in nutrition or closely related field

2.

Teaching experience in nutrition and food science

3.

Practical experience is preferred

4.

Bilingual candidates are preferred (Arabic/English)

  • Current Curriculum Vitae.
  • Cover letter.
  • Teaching, research, and service philosophy.
  • Three referees’ contact information (physical and email addresses as well their telephones contact).
  • Copy of highest earned credential (transcript of highest degree if graduated from an institution where course work was completed. However, if no course work was completed, a copy of certificate letter from the registrar of your highest credential granting institution regarding your highest academic degree).
  • Any additional documentation that you feel is relevant to your application.
