Overview

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor student academic progress using assessment results, observation, and achievement data to identify students who may require additional academic support.
• Assist in identifying barriers to academic success and contribute to the implementation of appropriate academic support strategies.
• Support the delivery of personalized academic interventions for at-risk students and those seeking to enhance their academic performance.
• Collect, manage, and analyze student data to support the identification and monitoring of at-risk and non-traditional student populations.
• Support the implementation of assessment strategies to evaluate student learning outcomes and the effectiveness of academic interventions.
• Coordinate with student support services to address learning challenges and promote academic success.
• Assist in the design and delivery of academic enhancement workshops and learning sessions, and track student participation and feedback.
• Support the delivery of workshops related to leadership, critical thinking, grit, and other academic or professional skills.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of student orientation materials and training sessions.
• Support the coordination of peer-based learning initiatives, including the Peer Tutoring Program and Peer Mentoring activities, under supervision.
• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and coordinating student tutors and peer mentors in accordance with program guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to student support activities and program outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with students, faculty, and administrative stakeholders regarding academic support initiatives.
• Support compliance with accreditation requirements, academic policies, and institutional guidelines as directed.
• Adhere to the University's information security and confidentiality policies and procedures and report breaches or other security risks accordingly.
• Coordinate with other departments to facilitate the accomplishment of tasks and responsibilities, as and when needed
• Demonstrate a strong commitment and practice to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the Line Manager.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), Education, or related subjects. Bilingual fluency (English and Arabic) is preferred.
• Adaptability, proactivity, willingness to take on additional responsibilities; skilled in relationship building and teamwork.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
