Role Overview

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Tax Professional (EA / CPA) to work on a contract basis.

This role involves utilizing your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems, shaping how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input in the finance industry.

Your domain knowledge is what matters, and no prior experience in AI is required.

You will be applying your skills to a critical area of tax law, enabling the development of reliable AI agents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret and analyze US federal and state tax statutes, focusing on statutory language including conditions, thresholds, and/or logic, and legal exceptions.
  • Review and evaluate the English translation of complex tax laws for accuracy and clarity.
  • Provide comprehensive, structured written feedback within a review UI to ensure regulatory compliance and high-quality output.
  • Apply logical reasoning to identify inconsistencies, ambiguities, and gaps in tax documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members and stakeholders to clarify interpretations and resolve any discrepancies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of US tax law, including federal and state statutes, regulations, and court decisions.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex tax language.
  • Proficiency in written communication, with the ability to provide clear and concise feedback.
  • Strong logical reasoning and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify inconsistencies and ambiguities.
  • Proficiency in working with tax documentation, including statutory language and regulatory requirements.
