Role Overview

Provide accurate transcription services for English-language audio content.

Work involves converting spoken content into written text with high fidelity to source material.

This role supports projects in technology and AI domains where precise documentation of verbal communications is critical.

Quality transcription enables downstream processing for analysis, training, and documentation purposes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transcribe audio files into accurate, readable English text with full sentence structure and proper punctuation.
  • Ensure transcription maintains speaker distinction and contextual clarity for multi-speaker recordings.
  • Review and edit auto-generated transcriptions for errors, omissions, and formatting consistency.
  • Adhere to client-specified style guides including capitalization, speaker labeling, and time-stamp formatting.
  • Deliver completed transcriptions within agreed timelines while maintaining confidentiality of proprietary content.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Native-level fluency in English with exceptional listening comprehension and clear articulation of nuances.
  • Prior transcription experience with technology-related content such as software demos, technical discussions, or developer interviews.
  • Proficient typing speed of at least 65 words per minute with 98% accuracy on transcription tasks.
  • Familiarity with transcription software including keyboard shortcuts and audio playback controls.
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to identify and correct errors in audio quality or speaker overlap.
