Job Description The Talent Acquisition Specialist – Healthcare plays a vital role in driving the growth and success of healthcare organizations by attracting, recruiting, and retaining top-tier talent. This position specializes in healthcare recruitment, ensuring the alignment of top-qualified professionals with appropriate organizational roles. The Specialist partners with healthcare leaders to understand their staffing needs and develops strategies to address skill gaps and workforce planning. Employing a variety of techniques, from social media outreach to leveraging established healthcare networks, this role ensures healthcare facilities have the personnel necessary to deliver high-quality patient care and corporate objectives. This dynamic position requires excellent relationship-building skills, a deep understanding of healthcare practices, and the ability to manage the end-to-end recruitment process efficiently. As a primary ambassador of the organization's brand, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will drive efforts to foster a robust and diverse network of healthcare professionals committed to excellence.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies tailored to healthcare roles.
- Partner with department heads to identify human resources needs and skill gaps.
- Source qualified candidates through various channels, including job boards and social media.
- Screen resumes and applications to shortlist candidates for healthcare positions.
- Conduct interviews to assess candidates' skills and cultural fit with the organization.
- Coordinate and manage recruitment events and healthcare job fairs.
- Ensure all hiring practices comply with applicable employment laws and regulations.
- Work collaboratively with HR teams to refine hiring processes and enhance candidate experience.
- Facilitate job offer negotiations and manage onboarding processes for new hires.
- Maintain up-to-date records of recruitment activities and candidate pipelines.
- Analyze recruitment metrics to optimize strategies and improve hiring outcomes.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with healthcare professionals and associations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in healthcare recruitment or talent acquisition.
- Strong understanding of healthcare industry practices and recruitment trends.
- Proven track record of successfully filling challenging healthcare positions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective relationship building.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems and recruitment software.
- Ability to manage multiple recruiting projects and meet critical deadlines simultaneously.
