The role is based at PhonePe's Bengaluru headquarters and is responsible for hiring primarily sales employees across selected merchant payments verticals.
The position offers exposure to traditional retail and FMCG practices as well as startup ways of working.
The team is seeking a Talent Acquisition professional to support candidate attraction and bring top talent to the company.
Responsibilities
- Execute talent acquisition strategy in line with functional goals and objectives.
- Manage job postings, sourcing, screening, interviews, and the broader recruitment process.
- Drive referral and campus hiring where required, including communication and employer branding across channels.
- Track market intelligence and industry trends in attraction, assessment, and sourcing methodologies.
- Use recruitment metrics and analytics to track performance, identify improvements, and report on key recruitment KPIs.
Capabilities and Requirements
- MBA or postgraduate degree in Human Resources with 5+ years of Talent Acquisition experience.
- Exposure to bulk hiring or sales hiring is mandatory.
- Startup environment exposure is an added advantage.
- Experience sourcing through consultants, job portals, self-sourcing, and referrals.
- Understanding and hands-on experience with application tracking systems.
- Strong execution rigor and ability to influence and build consensus.
