Fairmont Bab Al Bahr is a 5-star Abu Dhabi beach resort with 366 rooms, suites, and a villa, along with restaurants, meeting rooms, a private beach, pool, and ballroom.
Role responsibilities
- Coordinate installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, PCs, POS devices, PABX, software, and Office 365 solutions.
- Maintain reliable high-speed internet, Wi-Fi, and in-room entertainment systems for guests.
- Support Opera PMS, Micros POS, and Sun System accounting applications.
- Implement and monitor information security, data-protection policies, staff training, and disaster-recovery plans.
- Collaborate with hotel departments to resolve system issues and optimize workflows.
- Support meeting-room audio-visual setups with the AV Supervisor and Events Team.
- Maintain software licenses and IT asset records; provide quarterly reports to the Head of Department.
- Serve as a secondary contact for external service providers and hardware/software suppliers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of IT experience, including 1–2 years in a supervisory or senior support role.
- Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN infrastructure, network security, analog telephony, and virtualization technologies.
- Luxury hospitality experience is strongly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with commitment to luxury-standard service.

- Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate, CCNA or CompTIA Network+, and Microsoft Certified Professional are listed.
