Key responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements for integration initiatives.
- Prepare API specifications, interface requirement documents, process flows, data mappings, and system integration designs.
- Work with business teams, the Product Owner, architects, and developers to define integration requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Analyze upstream and downstream system impacts of new integrations, enhancements, and platform changes.
- Support API, messaging, event-streaming, and middleware solution design activities.
- Define data mapping, transformation, validation, and reconciliation requirements.
- Coordinate SIT, UAT, defect resolution, and production-readiness activities.
- Assist with integration troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
- Ensure compliance with integration governance, security, and architecture standards.
Required skills and experience
- Required skills include Oracle Database, WebLogic, and REST/SOAP/API.
- 5–8 years of experience as a Systems Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, or Integration Analyst.
- Strong knowledge of integration technologies, APIs, microservices, messaging, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with middleware and integration platforms such as TIBCO, MuleSoft, Kafka, API Gateway, or similar technologies.
- Good understanding of core banking business processes.
- Knowledge of data mapping, XML, JSON, REST APIs, and system interface design.
- Experience in digital banking, payments, channels, or core banking transformation programmes.
- Familiarity with Azure, AWS, or OCI and Agile delivery methodologies; strong analytical, documentation, stakeholder-management, and communication skills.
