Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and coordinate system integration activities across all project phases, from concept and design through implementation, testing, and commissioning
• Establish and maintain interface management processes, ensuring clear definition, allocation, and control of all technical interfaces between subsystems and stakeholder
• Develop and implement the system integration and verification & validation strategy, ensuring alignment with project requirements and performance targets
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and suppliers to proactively identify and resolve integration issues, risks, and conflicts
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements, supporting system assurance and certification activities
• Oversee integration-related testing and commissioning activities, ensuring that the integrated system meets operational and performance requirements
• Ensure the delivery of a safe, reliable, and fully integrated overall system in line with project objectives

Qualifications

• University degree (B.Sc./M.Sc.) in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a comparable field
• Minimum 15 years of professional experience, with at least 10 years of experience in system integration in complex infrastructure or rail/transport projects
• Proven expertise in interface management, systems engineering processes, and verification & validation methodologies
• Demonstrated experience as a key expert or in a leading role within large-scale, multidisciplinary projects, with strong stakeholder coordination skills
• Strong ability to manage complex technical interfaces across multiple contractors and project phases in an international project environment
• Excellent communication and coordination skills with fluency in English (written and spoken) and ability to work in an international project environment; Arabic language skills are an advantage
