Requirements Configuration Manager

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a robust requirements management process across all project stages (from early planning through implementation), ensuring full traceability from stakeholder needs to system implementation and verification
• Define and control configuration management procedures, including baseline definition, change control and formal governance and reporting structures
• Coordinate the collection, analysis, and consolidation of requirements across multidisciplinary engineering teams and multiple external stakeholders in a large-scale infrastructure environment
• Ensure consistency between requirements, design documents, and delivered solutions throughout the full project lifecycle
• Manage change requests and assess their impact on scope, cost, schedule, and technical configuration in alignment with project controls and approval processes
• Support verification and validation activities to confirm that requirements are correctly implemented and fulfilled
• Act as the central point of contact for all requirements and configuration topics within the project, ensuring transparency and alignment across all parties
• Establish quality standards, templates, and best practices for requirements and configuration management to ensure a consistent project-wide approach

Qualifications

• University degree (B.Sc./M.Sc.) in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Transport Engineering or a comparable field
• Minimum 15 years of professional experience, with at least 10 years of experience in requirements and/or configuration management large-scale infrastructure, railway or transport projects
• Proven experience with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS, Jama, or comparable systems) and configuration control processes
• Strong understanding of systems engineering principles, including lifecycle management, traceability, and change management
• Demonstrated ability to structure complex technical information and communicate it clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• High level of ownership, analytical thinking, and ability to work independently in a dynamic project environment
• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills in complex, multidisciplinary and international project environments
• Excellent communication and coordination skills with fluency in English (written and spoken) and ability to work in an international project environment; Arabic language skills are an advantage
