System Administrator
About This Role
WGR668 is a forward-thinking organization committed to delivering reliable, secure, and scalable technology solutions. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a skilled and proactive System Administrator to join our team in Doha and support our expanding IT infrastructure.
Role Overview
The System Administrator will be responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and managing our software, hardware, and networks. The ideal candidate is resourceful, detail-oriented, and capable of ensuring optimal system performance and security while supporting business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, systems, and network infrastructure
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure uptime and reliability
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls
- Implement and maintain security protocols, backups, and disaster recovery plans
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and upgrades
- Collaborate with internal teams to support IT needs and projects
- Maintain documentation of systems, processes, and procedures
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux server environments
- Familiarity with networking concepts, firewalls, and security best practices
- Experience with virtualization and cloud platforms is an advantage
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
