Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swimming Instructor to work primarily with younger age groups (FS1 to Year 2), helping children build water confidence, develop basic swimming skills, and enjoy physical activity in a safe and supportive environment.
The role will also include leading or supporting club swimming programs on Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings, which involve various age groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate swimming lessons for children in FS1 to Year 2.
- Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all swimmers.
- Monitor student progress and adapt lessons to meet individual needs.
- Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and students.
- Support or lead Club swimming sessions on Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings (various age groups).
- Assist with assessments and tracking of swimming development.
- Follow health, safety, and safeguarding procedures at all times.
- Collaborate with other PE/sports staff and contribute to the wider physical education program.
