Position Overview
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Swimming Coach to develop and implement our comprehensive swimming program across all age groups.
The ideal candidate will inspire students to achieve their full potential in the water while maintaining the highest standards of safety and instruction.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape our aquatics curriculum and contribute to our students' physical development and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging, age-appropriate swimming lessons aligned with British curriculum standards
- Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents
- Offer a comprehensive range of swimming clubs and develop the schools swim teams.
- Ensure stringent pool safety protocols are followed at all times in accordance with school policies and ADEK regulations
- Organize and manage swimming competitions, galas, and related aquatic events
- Lead professional development sessions for teaching staff to enhance their swimming instruction capabilities
- Collaborate with the Physical Education department to integrate swimming into the broader sports curriculum
- Maintain all pool equipment and ensure optimal water quality and safety conditions
- Identify talented swimmers and provide pathways for competitive development
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the school's aquatics program
• Level 2 Swimming Coaching Qualification (essential)
- Minimum 3 years of experience teaching swimming in an educational setting
- Proven track record in developing and implementing swimming programs
- Valid lifeguard certification
- Experience in organizing swimming competitions and events
- Strong understanding of child development and differentiated instruction techniques
- Experience in international school settings preferred
