Our client is seeking a dedicated Sushi Chef to join their dynamic kitchen team at a sushi restaurant in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in Japanese cuisine and a desire to develop their culinary skills in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the preparation of sushi and other Japanese dishes.
- Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, and measuring as required for menu items.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Learn and apply proper sushi techniques and presentation skills.
- Support the kitchen team during busy service periods, ensuring timely and efficient food preparation.
- Participate in daily kitchen operations, including inventory management and stock rotation.
