Overview

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Sushi Chef to join our Hawaiian inspired street food concept in Qatar.

You will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality sushi and Japanese-inspired dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present a variety of sushi rolls, and specialty items
  • Maintain consistent quality, freshness, and portion standards
  • Manage sushi station setup, mise en place, and daily prep
  • Ensure all seafood and ingredients meet quality standards before use
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to support smooth service
  • Train and guide junior kitchen staff when required

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in a sushi or Japanese kitchen
  • Proficiency in traditional and modern sushi techniques
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours
  • Team player with positive attitude and attention to detail
