Candidate requirements
- Mandatory proven experience in a high-end sushi restaurant or luxury dining establishment.
- Strong knowledge of Japanese cuisine and sushi, sashimi, nigiri, and maki preparation.
- Excellent knife skills and expertise in fish handling, cutting, and preparation.
- Deep understanding of fish quality, freshness, food safety, and hygiene standards.
- Ability to maintain consistency, precision, and presentation in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen.
- Strong teamwork, discipline, and attention to detail; passion for authentic Japanese culinary techniques and continuous improvement.
Availability
- Immediate availability is preferred.
Compensation
- Salary is to be discussed during the interview based on experience, technical skills, and suitability.
