What You'll Do
Establish and maintain sterile fields throughout surgical procedures.
Assist with patient positioning and transfers while ensuring comfort and safety.
Adhere to all infection prevention, safety and HIPAA requirements.
Prepare, organize and handle surgical trays and instruments.
Ensure proper operation, care and maintenance of surgical instruments and clinical equipment.
Protect patient privacy, dignity and confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Understanding of basic medical terminology.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Computer literacy and proficiency.
