Supplier Quality Engineer

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Prepare test, system, and closing reports for complex engineering projects and document process improvements.
• Configure, implement, and maintain software for data entry and reporting; provide software-system training as needed.
• Lead Six Sigma projects to improve claims, off-quality, waste, and operational efficiency.
• Develop action plans and process-control standards with management, measure results, and recommend improvements.
• Assess business needs affecting compliance, quality, delivery, and financial outcomes; perform analysis and solve complex problems.
• Coach and review lower-level professionals, lead after-action reviews, and collaborate on technical, system, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent education and/or experience.
• Two to four years of relevant experience, or equivalent education and/or experience.
• Six Sigma knowledge or experience is required; Green Belt certification or above is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products.
