Supervisor, Operations Services (CNG)

Job purpose

CNG and hydrogen station operations

• Manage daily trailer filling at mother stations and safe, timely transport to daughter stations to avoid dry-outs.
• Ensure required safety precautions and work permits are in place and followed for station equipment work.
• Visit stations to inspect facilities and confirm operations meet safety standards and manufacturer recommendations.
• Train station fillers and operators on CNG and hydrogen facilities.
• Record filling and dispatch data and prepare schedules for filled trailers.
• Participate in commissioning new CNG and hydrogen stations.

Maintenance, safety, and quality

• Plan and supervise operations and maintenance for natural gas equipment, including compressors, dispensers, trailers, and heads.
• Coordinate HSSE activities and train operators, trailer drivers, and labourers in safe work and emergency procedures.
• Coordinate quality assurance and maintain documents according to ISO policies and procedures.
• Organize quarantine storage for damaged, off-specification, or over-aged materials and prevent their issue.
• Maintain controlled documents and initiate corrective actions as needed.

Reporting and emergency coverage

• Prepare weekly and monthly reports and monitor CNG and hydrogen facility performance.
• Remain on call 24 hours a day for emergency calls.

Minimum qualifications and experience

• Technical diploma or bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or another related discipline.
• 5–6 years of experience as a supervisor managing CNG or natural gas operations.
