Supervisor Maintenance - UAE National

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe working practices, legislative compliance, and operational safety for employees, equipment, and assets.
• Maintain adherence to quality systems and company policies.
• Respond to breakdown notifications, escalate issues, prioritize job requests, and arrange corrective actions.
• Communicate new work requests, supervise maintenance tasks, and assist with maintenance issues.
• Carry out cost-effective repairs within department requirements and budget constraints.
• Prepare contingency plans with local suppliers for urgent items; report shortages and help maintain stock levels.
• Supervise junior engineering and technical staff and attend briefings to maintain continuity.
• Report equipment issues and breakdowns to line managers; propose and implement improvements to work procedures.

Qualifications, experience, and skills

• Engineering diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering from a recognized body.
• Three to five years of relevant experience in catering, facilities, or project management.
• Experience working within a team.
• Ability to stay calm in emergencies, multitask, work under pressure, troubleshoot maintenance problems, set priorities, and assign work.
• Good written, verbal, and communication skills; ability to maintain records and prepare reports.
• Self-motivated and proactive approach.
