Facilitates material movement planning and scheduling at the warehouse in coordination with warehouse supervisors and facilitators.
Responsibilities
- Plan transport routes and payloads, select modes, tender orders, and track shipments from pickup through delivery while targeting cost and service requirements.
- Coordinate providers and internal inventory, warehouse, airfreight, and sea freight teams to support efficient, on-time delivery.
- Develop performance metrics and working schedules and monitor delivery schedules.
- Investigate service failures and complaints and ensure corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure accurate invoicing and prepare billing and authorization paperwork.
- Assist with physical inventory checks and respond to claims in a timely manner.
- Follow EHS policies, report incidents and near misses, and help ensure a safe workplace.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- 2–4 years of related work experience.
- Basic English communication skills and knowledge of a sub-continent Asian language.
- Communicates with the Head of Operations and company departments for reporting, finalization, and follow-up.
Workplace and safety
- Role coordinates material movement and operations at the warehouse.
- Comply with company EHS requirements and applicable Abu Dhabi occupational health and safety standards.
