Provide support for pre-award and post-award contract management activities.
Core responsibilities
- Support annual procurement planning and compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
- Assist with expressions of interest, prequalification, unpriced commercial bid evaluations, and bidders lists.
- Help end users prepare scopes of work and collect supporting information and documents.
- Organize pre-tender meetings and bidder site visits.
- Prepare award recommendations and letters of award, and handle bidding-period correspondence with end-user input where needed.
- Interpret contract terms and provide administrative support for bank guarantees, insurance, and invoices.
- Maintain contract logs and files, including agreed changes to ITT packages.
- Handle variations and claims, submit amendments, and support contract close-out.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Quantity Surveying, Business Administration, or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus.
- High proficiency in English; working knowledge of Arabic is highly desirable.
- At least 4–6 years of experience in a similar role, including pre-award and post-award contract management.
- Good knowledge of procurement regulations and industry standards.
- Ability to understand strategic issues and maintain an organizational perspective.
- Strong negotiation, relationship management, analytical, research, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
