Ahmadyar Developments is seeking an experienced Supervisor / Foreman – MEP for its Projects Department.
The role oversees MEP works across residential projects from installation and coordination through testing, commissioning, snagging, and final handover.
Responsibilities
- Supervise electrical, plumbing and drainage, HVAC, and low current/LV works on site.
- Coordinate MEP installation with civil and finishing trades to prevent clashes, rework, and delays.
- Oversee and witness testing and commissioning before handover.
- Lead MEP snagging, maintain snag lists, and follow defects through to closure.
- Coordinate vendors, subcontractors, and specialist suppliers for timely delivery.
- Review shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals for compliance.
- Maintain progress records, inspection reports, and testing and commissioning documentation.
- Support permits and inspections with DEWA, Civil Defence, and other authorities.
- Ensure site safety compliance with the HSE team and escalate project risks to the Project Manager.
Qualifications and experience
- 6–8 years of relevant experience with main contractors or developers on real estate or residential projects.
- Graduation in Engineering, a Diploma in Engineering, or an ITI Certificate in Electrical or Mechanical.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing and drainage, HVAC, and low current/LV systems.
- Experience delivering multidisciplinary MEP works on real estate or residential projects.
- Ability to read and interpret MEP shop drawings and specifications.
- Hands-on testing and commissioning experience for MEP systems.
- Experience coordinating multiple MEP vendors and subcontractors.
- MS Office and AutoCAD skills for drawing reading and markups.
